Course title:   OP-104: ARTEMIS and RT-Events Solutions for Power Electronics and Power Grid applications

Course description:  RT-Events, RTeDRIVE and ARTEMIS softwares have been developed by Opal-RT to enhance the accuracy and the computation performance of Power Systems simulations.

This course will educate power system engineers on how to use these tools and how to connect them tools to IO blocks for HIL or RCP application.

Duration:   2 days

Prerequisite: OP-101, familiar with the Simulink toolbox SimPowerSystems from The MathWorks.
Language: English, French, Mandarin, Spanish

Material:  PowerPoint presentation, user manual,  Simulink and RT-LAB examples.

Objectives:  

  • Understanding the concepts and constraints of Power Systems Real-Time simulation
  • Understanding the capabilities of RT-Events for PWM generation
  • Understanding the capabilities of RTeDrive for Power Electronics Real-Time simulation
  • Being familiar with the compatibility of RT-Events and RTeDrive with IOs
  • Understanding the capabilities of ARTEMIS for Power Grid Real-Time simulation
