Dr Mehrdad Ehsani, Ph.D., P.E., F.IEEE Professor & Director, Power Electronics and Motor Drives Laboratory Texas A&M University
Dr. Ehsani received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin in 1973 and 1974, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981, all in electrical engineering.
Recipient of the 2001 IEEE Vehicular Society Avant Garde Award for "Contributions to the theory and design of hybrid electric vehicles", and the 2003 IEEE Undergraduate Teaching Award "For outstanding contributions to advanced curriculum development and teaching of power electronics and drives", he is the co-author of several books, and has over 23 granted or pending US and EC patents. Christian Dufour, Ph.D. Simulation Software Specialist Opal-RT Technologies Inc.
Dr. Dufour received his Ph.D. degree from Laval University, Quebec, Canada in 2000. Since 1992, he has worked on the development of the Hydro-Québec Research Institute real-time simulator as well as The MathWorks' Power System Blockset (SimPowerSystem blockset).
