Opal-RT Opens a New Office in Dallas Fort Worth to Service the Defense, Aerospace and Electrical Markets in the Southern USA

DALLAS - FORT WORTH, November 16, 2005 - Opal-RT Corporation announces the opening of the new Dallas Fort Worth office, to better service customers in the southern USA as well as the defense, aerospace and electrical markets. Marcus Lites and Tim Magisos staff the Dallas Fort Worth office. Both Lites and Magisos are veterans of the modeling and simulation market, as well as the COTS embedded systems market.

Magisos, Field Application Engineer has an extensive background in the defense industry, and behavioral modeling and simulation. After graduating from Ohio State University, Magisos worked for Texas Instruments DSEG in guidance and control design. He then joined Integrated Systems Inc. (ISI) as a Field Applications Engineer and Trainer for MATRIXx Products.

Lites, Strategic Sales Manager has an extensive background in the embedded market space as a design engineer and sales professional in test equipment, behavioral modeling and simulation, and real-time embedded operating systems. After graduating from Northwestern State University, Lites held positions with LTV Aerospace (aircraft maintenance equipment design), Data General (computer sales and service), Tektronix (test equipment sales), Integrated Systems Inc. (MATRIXx product sales), OSE Systems (RTOS sales), National Instruments (MATRIXx product sales) and LynuxWorks (RTOS sales). After having success as a design engineer in the defense industry for several years, Lites moved into sales and has been very successful selling into the defense, aerospace, and industrial markets.

Through 14 years of MATRIXx experience, Lites and Magisos have been involved with a wide variety of applications in the areas of missile guidance, aircraft controls, launch vehicles, spacecraft, propulsion systems, automotive applications, industrial controls and other land based vehicles.
