The RT-LAB DriveLab is a fully integrated Hardware-in-the-Loop electrical drive experimentation platform. The system has been specially designed to be simple and robust for use in educational laboratories but is sufficiently open to allow professor or students to expand the system to their requirements.

eDRIVEsim

eDRIVEsim® is an advanced real-time, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulator designed for Electronic Control Unit (ECU) testing of motor drives, power electronics, and electromechanical systems.

eDRIVEsim can run full motor simulation with a very small step size under 10 microseconds, enabling the simulation of high rotational speeds and switching frequencies. For ultra-low timestep and latency, eDRIVEsim uses FPGA co-processor as real-time target to achieve simulation time steps under one (1 µs) microsecond.

eMEGAsim

Large Scale Multi-Processor FPGA-based Power Grid Simulator

eMEGAsim is ideal for the Real-Time Simulation of large power systems models. Scalable from 6 to 64 processors and using very fast 10 Gbits/s communications links, eMEGAsim can simulate your model with a very small step size.   FPGA co-processors, supported through the use of Opal-RT's RT-XSG blockset can be used to push simulation time steps down to the nanoseconds range.
