Software
ARTEMiS

ARTEMIS is a suite of fixed-step solvers and algorithms that optimize Simulink models of elecromechanical systems, created using the SimPowerSystems, for real-time execution.

DINAMO

DINAMO provides tools specifically designed for simulations in aerospace applications.

EMTP-RT

Real-Time Simulation Interface for EMTP-RV.
Take your EMTP-RV® Models to Real-Time with a Single Mouse Click!

JMAG-RT

ORCHESTRA

Software framework for heterogeneous co-simulations, intended to work under real-time constraints.

RT-EVENTS

RT-EVENTS Blockset is an add-on that works with MATLAB Simulink(tm) to improve the efficiency and accuracy of continuous-time and discrete-time systems simulations whose dynamics change due to discrete events.

RT-LAB OPC Server

Connect RT-LAB Real-Time Simulation to any OPC Visualization Tools.

RT-LAB Professional

RT-LAB, fully integrated with MATLAB/Simulink®, is the open Real-Time Simulation software environment that has revolutionized the way Model-based Design is performed. RT-LAB’s flexibility and scalability allow it to be used in virtually any simulation or control system application, and to add computing-power to simulations, where and when it is needed.

RT-LAB Solo

Specifically designed for teaching, RT-LAB Solo is a single host, single target platform and can be used in numerous real-time simulation/control applications typically found in educational projects.

RT-XSG

RT-XSG enables engineers to generate custom, application specific models that can be implemented onto an FPGA device. Signal conditioning and conversion modules are also available that enable the custom model to be used for Real-Time Simulation, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) data processing.

Note: RT-XSG software requirements can be found in the RT-XSG User Guide accessible from the documentation tab.

Third-Party Software
Altia

Altia provides a suite of Simulation Graphics software that enables engineers to build photo-realistic interactive front ends to their RT-LAB simulations.

AMESim

Opal-RT and IMAGINE have developed a system that will allow automotive engineers to develop high-fidelity models of automatic transmissions that can be used for design validation, control prototyping and Electronic Control Unit (ECU) testing.

CarSim RT

Utilizing RT-LAB, real-time-enabled CarSim RT math models can be executed in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems. CarSim RT includes the option to run database and visualization software on a "host" computer running Windows, with math models running in real-time on a "target" computer.

Dymola

Dymola generates code for specialized Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems with RT-LAB.

EMTP-RV

The EMTP-RV platform for off-line simulation and analysis of transients in power systems is used by many of the world’s electrical utilities to evaluate system transients expected on transmission lines and other equipment.

GT-Power RT

GT-Power RT, combines the standard (non-real-time) analysis capabilities of Gamma Technologies' GT-Power's with Opal-RT's RT-LAB real-time environment, allowing engineers to have single sourcing for engine models needed for base engine design and for real-time simulations (hardware-in-the loop testing).

MATRIXx

Opal-RT is a National Instruments Alliance Partner. They have recently acquired MATRIXx to supply engineering development tools for dynamic modeling and control applications.

SimPowerSystems

SimPowerSystems extends Simulink with tools for modeling and simulating basic electrical circuits and detailed electrical power systems. These tools let you model the generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption of electrical power, as well as its conversion into mechanical power. SimPowerSystems is well suited to the development of complex, self-contained power systems, such as those in automobiles, aircraft, manufacturing plants, and power utility applications.

TruckSim RT

Utilizing RT-LAB, real-time-enabled TruckSim RT math models can be executed in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems. TruckSim RT includes the option to run database and visualization software on a "host" computer running Windows, with math models running in real-time on a "target" computer.
