RT-LAB XSG enables the user to run a Simulink model subsystem on an FPGA at a sample rate of up to 2 MHz (0.5 µs) and other parts of the model at a sample rate of up to 200 kHz (5 µs).

With the release of RT-LAB XSG, Opal-RT pushes its distributed simulation paradigm down to FPGA reprogrammable processors. Already allowing the user to distribute the computation of a complex plant or controller model on multiple computation nodes based on PC hardware, RT-LAB XSG now allows the use of dedicated FPGA processors for sub-microsecond computation loops.
