Real-time Electrical Engineering Simulator (EES) for Control Systems Automation

The RT-LAB Electrical Engineering Simulator based on MATLAB/Simulink is a Real-Time Simulator of electric drives found in high power electric systems such as trains, ships, off-highway vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles.

RT-LAB Electrical Engineering Simulator is based on RT-LAB real-time, distributed PC-based simulation platform; it is optimized to run Simulink and SimPowerSystem Blockset (previously known as the Power Systems Blockset) in real-time, with efficient fixed-step solvers, on PC-Cluster.

Our EES simulation hardware can be used for fully digital simulation or for hardware-in-the-loop applications where either the simulated electric plant or simulated controller is connected to external hardware by different types of I/O available in Simulink from extensive I/O library. With RT-LAB Electrical Engineering Simulator, electric models and controllers can run at time steps as low as 25 µs for an accuracy up to 2 to 3 kHz.
