RT-LAB TestFlight is an inexpensive "aircraft-in-a-box" simulator for testing avionics, hardware components and control algorithms. RT-LAB TestFlight simulates the dynamics of an aircraft in flight using an Opal-RT or client supplied Simulink model.

It is a PC based simulator that can use a high-fidelity aircraft model to stimulate hardware or avionics boxes through a wide range of I/O interfaces.

The system provides a cockpit-like graphical user interface (GUI), an out-the-window display (scenery generator) while engineers control the aircraft using either a joystick or the Autopilot feature.
