DINAMO is a software package, running within the RT-LAB environment that provides tools specifically designed for running simulations for the aerospace industry.

DINAMO runs batches of trims and flight simulations ideal for flight mechanics analyses or test rig excitation.

DINAMO uses aircraft-flight-mechanics models defined as block diagrams in Simulink. To accelerate simulation speed, it uses RTW and RT-LAB to automatically generate and run C-code. A graphical user interface eases the task of creating trim, input, parameter-estimation, and batch files. Default trims, such as longitudinal and lateral trims, are provided and reference speeds, like Vmu, are automatically computed.

DINAMO is also designed to run parameter-estimation batches tailored to standard flight-mechanics analyses. To accomplish this, trim and parameter-estimation files must first be created and then grouped into batch files.

All this is done using DINAMO's simple user interface.
