Description

RT-LAB Solo provides the most effective way to implement a model-based approach to design and control system development, while minimizing the need for test equipment that can be costly to acquire and maintain.

By providing a powerful real-time platform for MATLAB/Simulink and its associated toolboxes, the product allows simulations of dynamic systems to be quickly created and implemented on high-performance PC platforms that can accommodate sample rates of typically 20,000 Hz. This results in a high-bandwidth simulator capable of modeling a broad range of systems and their associated controls, from "slow" chemical processes to electrical networks' transients and stiff mechanical systems.

Furthermore, the integration of I/O modules in the system enables Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) applications involving precise continuous, as well as event-based, modeling and control. Offline (non-real-time) simulations can be converted to online interaction with physical equipment in a matter of minutes.
