Can I work from home?
Yes—we value flexibility and we have embraced hybrid work. Most of our employees can work from home if desired and have flexible hours.

Do we have internship programs at OPAL-RT?
Interns are the future of OPAL-RT, and they are a top priority for us. Every year, we welcome interns that are fully included in our teams and work on concrete projects that are delivered to customers. We regularly attend career fairs at various universities to meet and hire future interns in our Software and Electrical engineering programs. We also highly encourage career development, and endeavor as much as possible to transfer our interns towards becoming permanent employees at OPAL-RT where there is a good fit.

OPAL-RT counts +350 employees worldwide—with the majority located at our head office in Montreal. You can also find us in Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Poland, India, and the United States.
Do we plan social activities for employees?
Yes, we regularly plan happy hours and “Speed Meetings” to bring together all our employees. Once a month, we have an online Global Connect meeting, where all offices around the world can share the company’s news and projects. We also promote and undertake activities such as the OPAL-RT Soccer League, the Well-Being Month for self-care, and diverse mental and physical health programs, and we both attend and organize conferences all around the world.
