As DER penetration grows in MV distribution grids, solid-state transformers (SSTs) can act as flexible energy hubs providing stability-oriented grid services. We present a scalable CPU–FPGA real-time simulation platform and validate it using a modular three-stage SST model, demonstrating stable operation under setpoint changes.
