PCIM Expo & Conference 2026

June 9 - 11 2026

Innovation and progress are driven by passion, expertise, and meaningful dialogue – and this is exactly what PCIM 2026 brings together in one place as the leading international exhibition and conference for power electronics and its applications.

As an exhibitor, OPAL-RT is proud to be part of this leading event, where cutting-edge solutions across the entire power electronics value chain come to life. PCIM provides the ideal environment to exchange ideas, explore new approaches, and turn ambitious concepts into real-world applications.

Join us to discover how real-time simulation is enabling the next generation of innovation.

What to expect at our booth #6-215

  • Explore our latest solutions for real-time simulation
  • Interact with our experts to learn how our technologies enhance efficiency and reliability
  • Experience live demonstrations showcasing the capabilities of OPAL-RT platforms in solving real-world challenges:

✅ Real-Time Interface for Inverter Testing in PHIL Test Benches

Experience a real-time interface for advanced inverter testing, connecting an OPAL-RT simulator, the Wavetraq Controller, a Power Hardware-in-the-Loop test bench, and an inverter as the device under test. The demo shows how high-resolution current references from an FPGA-based machine model are streamed to the test bench in real time, while encoder signals from the same simulated machine are provided directly to the inverter for e-motor emulation. This enables realistic, reproducible, and highly dynamic inverter validation without requiring a complete physical machine setup.

Measured operating points will highlight the interface performance and demonstrate how real-time simulation can accelerate inverter testing, development, and validation.

✅ High-Frequency Converter Simulation with AMD Versal™ Prime FPGA & HSCS

Discover how HSCS enables a high degree of simulation fidelity for high-frequency power electronics applications, such as on-board chargers. Explore the flexibility of HSCS to model and simulate arbitrary converter topologies required for emerging power electronics designs. Learn how to integrate Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) validation from the early stages of controller development to accelerate innovation, reduce risk, and minimize time to market.
