THE XG SERIES
Discover our unmatched performance
We’re redefining real-time simulation with the XG series. Powered by OPAL-RT Linux 3, Intel’s or AMD’s latest technologies, and our unique toolboxes, this series delivers unparalleled performance for simulating, testing, integrating, and validating cutting-edge products and solutions.
01
Performance
Achieve up to 1.8x faster simulation speeds. The XG series handles larger and more complex power systems, power electronics, and microgrid models using fewer cores.
02
Reliability
Ensure maximum reliability and uptime with server-grade motherboards and CPUs.
03
Accuracy
Simulate models with reduced time steps for greater precision. The XG series offers configurations with 4 to 44 cores per simulator.
04
Powered by Intel® or AMD
The XG series leverages decades of innovation to deliver world-class technology and performance.
FEATURES
Maximum flexibility and precision
Modularity
Connect your devices and systems without limitation. Onboard expansion slots accommodate up to four analog and digital I/O modules, with signal conditioning to support a combination of up to 64 fast analog or 128 digital channels. See compatible I/O modules and accessories.
Scalability
The OP4610XG supports up to 4 SFP multi-mode fiber-optic modules and LVDS or fiber-optic synchronization for high-speed communication and synchronization between devices and expansion units. Easily expand the simulation and I/O capacity using other OPAL-RT FPGA and I/O expansion units. See the list of communication protocols.

SIMULATOR ARCHITECTURE
Compact design, powerful simulation
The compact OP4610XG uses an AMD processor to enable real-time computing of very large models, as well as an AMD Kintex™-7 410T FPGA to include ultra-fast loop time for fast-switching frequency real-time simulation. All this computing power is available in a single rack-mounted chassis and is compact enough to be used easily on a desktop. Benefit from parallel processing to perform high-fidelity real-time electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation of large and complex systems, as well as an FPGA for high-frequency power electronics applications.
