RT20 | Panel: Digital Twin to Increase Resilience of Power Grids

​Digital Twins are virtual representations of physical assets and processes used to understand, predict, and optimize their operation. Towards that vision, RT20 included a panel to discuss the needs and challenges associated with this concept and the use of accelerated simulation and real-time simulation as a must for rendering the digital twin concept practical and accessible, while benefiting from the newest technologies, such as 5G mobile networks, cloud computing and state-of-the-art artificial intelligence algorithms.
