| Reduced cost and accuracy are some of the factors due to which real time simulation is preferred for various design aspects like modeling, analyses, control, and testing of modern power system. Out of this design aspects, the power system control plays vital role, since the control signal from a controller to the actual system under operation must reach on time. Therefore, in this work a case study is performed in which a load tracker is systematically developed and implemented for a grid connected solid oxide fuel cell based stationary power plant in real time environment by OPAL-RT’s OP 4510. Synchronized control of the developed tracker with real time shows the superiority of this environment over offline environments like MATLAB/SIMULINK. |
