RT20 | Experimental Verification of Smart Grid Functions with Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulations

​The project i-Automate deals with creating protection and control functions for smart grids on a unified, modular and reusable software-hardware platform. There are multiple measurement points in the distribution grid with which protection and control functions are tested. Since it is not possible to experimentally verify all algorithms in the field, the RTS offers a very good option for simulating the grids thereby verifying and optimizing the implemented algorithms .
