In this presentation, the application of a newly developed data-driven technique in the domain of microgrid primary and secondary control will be explained. In this method, there is no need for a parametric model of the system elements, and only the measurement data is used for controller design. This method can be used for designing centralized, distributed, and decentralized control systems. For validating, a distributed control system connected to the OPAL-RT simulator is used. Moreover, using this data-driven technique the problem of Power Hardware In the Loop (PHIL) stabilization is solved and validated using a PHIL setup including OPAL-RT simulator, power amplifier, and passive elements. In this method, it has been shown that the accuracy of the PHIL setup can be maximized while the stability is guaranteed with no need for externally added impedance.
