RT24 UK | On-line Admittance Identification in IBR-Dominated Power Systems via Power Hardware-in-the-Loop

This presentation explores the use of admittance models in stability analysis and oscillation tracing within IBR-dominated power systems, highlighting their effectiveness for system strength assessment and root-cause analysis. It introduces a method to determine the minimum injection amplitude for accurate measurements, accounting for system noise and error limits. Additionally, the application of the OP1400 Power Hardware-In-the-Loop (PHIL) system in online admittance identification will be demonstrated using a real 10 kVA 3-phase inverter connected to a simulated power network with a frequency sweep performed by the OP8110 power amplifier.
