As renewable energy adoption grows, energy systems face increasing cybersecurity challenges. This presentation explores the evolving cyber threat landscape for renewable-integrated systems, demonstrating the impact of cyberattacks using OPAL-RT and EXata CPS co-simulations. By examining vulnerabilities in protocols like Sunspec Modbus, we assess system weaknesses and propose robust solutions. The goal is to equip energy professionals with strategies to ensure grid resilience and reliability against emerging threats.
