We offer the capability to add an OPC UA Server Simulator to real-time simulations using our OPC UA Client Simulator, enabling full OPC UA Simulation functionality. This allows users to monitor any simulation points within their MATLAB® and Simulink® model through an OPC UA client. Users can also control the simulation by writing data to it. Our OPC UA Simulator solution supports seamless OPC DA to OPC UA Gateway functionality, bridging legacy and modern systems. Our OPC UA driver enables the option to provide the server with an external timestamp, rather than relying on the server’s internal system clock. For instance, users can supply the server with precise GPS time-stamping based on the epoch time received via GPS. Support for OPC DA UA and OPC UA DA standards ensures robust communication for diverse use cases.
