IEC 61850-8-1 GOOSE

Our IEC 61850 interface supports connections to various IEDs through the publishing and subscribing of GOOSE and Sampled Values messages, offering full compatibility with GOOSE IEC 61850 simulation workflows. Using a standard network interface card, this protocol integrates smoothly into any simulation model. As part of the GOOSE protocol IEC 61850 standard, the driver initializes on the target simulator at simulation start, instantly connecting to other IEDs for data exchange. To ensure high performance, the IEC 61850 driver uses asynchronous threads on dedicated cores.GOOSE configurations can be easily imported from Configured IED Description (CID) files of equipment under test, supporting complex data objects with both digital and analog attributes.
