IEC 62056 Master

Acting as an intermediary, the gateway uses a DNP3 master on the simulator side and a DNP3 slave on the gateway side, allowing one or multiple IEC 62056 slaves—typically smart meters—to report analog and digital measurements directly to the simulator. Data received from the IEC 62056 slaves is retransmitted to the simulator using DNP3.
