Opal-RT for many years has been known to innovate in ECU testing solutions for the Automotive Industry.

This video displays our newest piece of innovation: the Hardware-in-the-loop Dashboard and Body Control Module simulator. 

The first system shown in the video is used to test the cars instrument cluster, namely dashboard, or IC controllers. Inside of every car you have the dashboard. And the goal of automotive engineers is to be able to test all of the functionalities of the dashboard in a Hardware-in–the loop simulation environment which the system discussed provides.

For obvious, economical, and safety reasons, it is ideal not to perform prototype testing on the road in a real vehicle.

Opal-RT demonstrates how you are be able to carry out the prototyping stage in a laboratory where you can recreate all of the possible faults and situations in a vehicle.
