Configurable for each customer, OPAL-RT’s real-time systems can be made to simulate, supervise, and communicate with each other as co-simulation systems.

The OP5020/25/33XG simulators include up to six PCI express expansion slots to implement high-speed interfacing with OPAL-RT FPGA Processor and I/O Expansion Units for larger distributed Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulations. The OPAL-RT simulators also support many other third-party communication cards, time synchronization, and more.
