Webinar | Versatile Blackbox Model Integration Workflows for Real-Time Testing to Boost Deployment Confidence
Join OPAL-RT at our online webinar
Discover the future of real-time grid simulation by joining OPAL-RT’s upcoming webinar, “Versatile Blackbox Model Integration Workflows for Real-Time Testing to Boost Deployment Confidence.” This expert-led session takes place online on June 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM (EDT), and is designed for power systems professionals seeking to enhance interconnection studies and simulation accuracy through standardized blackbox model workflows.
Webinar highlights
The webinar will explore multiple real-time simulation workflows for integrating blackbox inverter-based resource (IBR) models. Attendees will learn how these enable earlier and more accurate testing of system behavior through both HIL and SIL environments:
- Accelerated SIL/HIL Workflows for Blackbox IBRs
Learn how to validate system behavior in real time using vendor-provided blackbox models—before hardware ever hits the field.
- Standardized Integration via CIGRE B4.82
Discover how to implement a unified approach to real-time controller integration based on the CIGRE B4.82 Working Group’s methodology.
- Improved Pre-Commissioning Confidence
Explore how these workflows support faster, smarter project validation and more robust grid interconnection testing.
- Case Insight from Major R&D Initiative
Gain real-world perspective from a large research collaboration using this workflow in practice for complex EMT studies.
