A policy rewarded with a trophy

OPAL-RT’s European division was awarded the “Réussir à Sceaux” trophy for its policy towards and commitment to women in the workplace. The trophy was presented by Mr. Philippe Laurent, mayor of Sceaux and Vice-President of the Communauté d’agglomération des Hauts-de-Bièvre, at the soiree held for the city’s economic actors on January 19, 2016.

Encouraging women from an early age

OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES also provides financial support to the association « Les Scientifines » whose goal is to help young girls discover science. Les Scientifines (www.lesscientifines.com) is a non-profit organization that promotes science to girls aged 8 to 12 years in underprivileged neighborhoods, such as Montreal’s (Canada) Little Burgundy and St-Henri, where close to half the area’s families live below the poverty line.
