Demo | Cybersecurity readiness of the GHOST microgrid with SEL controller and HYPERSIM® | OPAL-RT Learning Journey

A physical microgrid controller, the SEL 3360 is connected over Ethernet to HYPERSIM® running the GHOST microgrid, a 695-node model based on the BANSHEE distribution network developed at MIT & NREL and comprised of three feeders with various Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). Using a high-fidelity communication network emulator, EXata CPS, command and measurement signals between the controller and microgrid are subjected to cyberattacks causing unexpected behavior within the system.
