OPAL-RT provides ARINC AFDX solution for Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) and rapid control prototyping (RCP) applications, such as full authority digital engine/electronic control (FADEC) and aircraft systems components testing. Based on a PCIE board, our solution connects OPAL-RT simulators to the ARINC AFDX avionics data bus, and facilitates the configuration of independent channels for transmission (TX) and reception (RX) at a bit rate up to 1000MBits/s.

Discover OPAL-RT's support of ARINC 429 and AFDX®. ARINC 429 is a self-clocking, self-synchronizing data bus protocol for aircraft avionics. AFDX® uses a special protocol to provide deterministic timing and redundancy management providing secure and reliable communications of critical and non-critical data.
