WEBINAR | Cyber-Physical Power System (CPPS) Co-simulation on Operational Level for HIL with a Focus on Cyber-security Use Cases
Today’s power grid is a complex critical infrastructure that heavily relies on automation and remote operation, so forming a cyber-physical power system. A holistic approach is a must to capture the interdependency of cyber and physical domains in such systems. This webinar is based on a research project that aims to create a HIL-capable co-simulated environment with a focus on cyber-attack use cases. The developed model uses RT-LAB and EXata simulation frameworks; in addition, it also incorporates physical devices and custom software that are connected to the real-time co-simulation in a HIL fashion, creating a holistic testbed environment. The showcased approach and example results give an overview of how cutting-edge simulation could be leveraged.
